This work takes the imagery of the “moth and candle” as its starting point, exploring the paradoxical relationship between attraction and destruction. The inspiration comes from the instinctive behavior of moths drawn to light—an irresistible pull that ultimately leads to their demise.

Through contrasting visual language, the piece depicts the fragile tension between the moth and the flame, hovering between gentleness and danger. The candle symbolizes hope, temptation, or an unattainable goal, while the moth represents persistence, obsession, and instinct.
