This is an original character I created for a character design exercise—an octopus dealer from a fantasy-world casino. Inspired by the flexibility and strength of octopus tentacles, the character blends “human” and “non-human” traits to evoke a mysterious and intimidating presence.

I developed a full character package including a three-view turnaround, environment design, and a storyboard with twelve frames. The closed, confined setting emphasizes both spatial tension and the character’s sense of control, immersing the viewer in her world and emotions.

Symbolically, the octopus represents intelligence and mastery, perfectly aligning with the character’s role as a manipulator of rules and psychological games within the casino.
